General
The conditions set out below apply to each and every safari/tour. Reference or mention of the ’company’ means Safaris For Me.
Liability
The company shall not be liable for any damage, losses and expenses suffered by any client as a result of sickness, quarantine, weather conditions, war, strikes, riots or any other cause outside the company’s control. The company shall in no circumstances be deemed to be the agent of the passenger or of the supplier of any service.
The company accepts no liability in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to any person or property arising out of any act, omission or negligence of the company, the supplier, the company’s or supplier’s servants, save only in the case of wilful negligence or a wilful act or omission. The client shall be deemed to have waived, renounced and abandoned any and all right or entitlement which the client may be entitled to under the provisions of the law of the Republic of South Africa for any loss or damage to person or property.
The company shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or curtailment of the tour however caused, save only to the extent that such loss of baggage, cancellation or curtailment was caused by the company’s negligence. If sickness or accident interrupts a tour, the company shall not be liable for any cost or expense arising there from, save only to the extent that such sickness or accident was caused by the company’s wilful act or gross negligence. The company shall not be liable for any refund, either total or partial, of passage money paid. The company recommends passengers to take out necessary insurance’s to protect the passengers against such eventualities.
To this extent, the customer / client is expected to take out sufficient and comprehensive insurance to cover any of the aforementioned risks. In the event that the company is liable for loss or damage suffered – this will be limited to the difference of compensation not received in terms of a suitable comprehensive insurance policy or compensation that would have been due should such insurance policy have been taken out by the customer.
Booking / Cancellation Terms and Conditions
All travel arrangements, such as flight bookings, reservation of hotel accommodation, reservation of motor transport, etc. made by the company are subject to the booking conditions and cancellation provisions of the supplier of the services, transport and accommodation, etc. Such booking and cancellation conditions will be supplied via e-mail at the time of quotation, and will deemed to have been accepted on acceptance of such quotations and payment of deposit/s
Rates
All rates under ‘Find A Lodge’ are for safari lodges ONLY, and are an indication of the per person, per night rate ONLY for the lodges that will appear for each rate spread, to assist you in your search for your perfect lodge. For a quote, please fill out and submit one of the enquiry forms that can be found at the bottom of each ‘Lodge Page’ OR complete and submit the form on the ‘Tailor Make Your Safari Page’. You can also send a general enquiry from the Contact Page
These rates do NOT include any bush tranfer costs, domestic or international flights, food other than what is included in the lodge rate, game reserve entrance fees, any hired equipment, vehicle rental, where required, any other hotel accomodation or any additional costs.
These costs will vary dependant on each groups specific requirements and needs and can only be calculated post enquiry based on each groups tailored itenary and requirements.
Alteration of routes and substitution of accommodation
The company takes every care to ensure that itineraries are followed through to the letter but unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes. The company accepts no liability due to the alteration of routes or substitution of properties. Where properties are substituted, they will be substituted for similar accommodation.
