Tuningi Safari Lodge is an elegant, 5 star lodge set in a tranquil valley in the magnificent malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province.
The reserve is now home to the Big 5 & is renowned for the success of the Wild Dog population.
What makes this beautiful area even more attractive is the fact that it is malaria-free and is approximately three and a half hours drive from Johannesburg and a mere hour’s flight.
Tuningi gets its name from an ancient, sprawling fig tree under which the boma is set; perfect for wonderful traditional dinners under the African sky.
The main entertainment and reception area of the lodge overlooks a waterhole that
provides fantastic game viewing from the safety of an expansive wooden deck.
The rim flow pool and gorgeous lounges give the lodge a sumptuous and welcoming feel.
